I have walked above this lake many times. I’ve always said that I’d like to get a shot of the lake in the early morning light. I thought the shot was ruined as the weather had turned bad during the night. I zipped up the tent on a beautiful twilight, only to be greeted by a howling wind and low lying cloud in the morning.
But all was not lost. Just below the cloud, the early rays of the sun were illuminating the cloud with a soft yellow, giving a haunting glow to the image.
