The FEP, Federation of European Professional Photographers Associations, introduced in 1999 a single system of qualifications which is recognised and accepted by the 23 member associations of 20 countries within Europe.
All candidates submit to an international jury, a panel of 12 images, which will be judged in conditions of anonymity and under strict professional conditions.
To date, the FEP has conferred this truly international qualification on 293 photographers from Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Northern Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The QEP label is given in various specialisations such as wedding, portrait, reportage, architecture, advertising, illustration, landscape, etc.

For me, this is truly a great honour.

IPPA / RSA

Professional Photographer of the Year 2010

Thanks to Michelle, my wife, for the constant encouragement, and also to my friend and colleague Ignatius O’Neill, from Callan, who was a spark of inspiration when needed. Thanks to thank all the members of IPPA for their support, for which I don’t think I could have possibly achieved the results I did.

Thank you every one!!
