I had the pleasure to accompany a group of students from University of Limericks’ Camera Club on a bit of a wander recently. While on location, I wanted to shoot a fallen Yew tee. The tree itself is so full of texture and is almost alien in appearance. I was pleasantly surprised when I got back to base and had a look at the images captured, I noticed a branch on the ground, that I must admit, wasn’t part of my original composition. It looked like a snake reaching up to the tree and is in total opposition to the texture, size and weight of the Yew tree. Together they formed a pleasing study
