These standing stones are located just outside Skibereen in County Cork. Its hard to think that the stone row is as old as the pyramids. Known locally as the Gurranes. There was originally five stones, now four remain on site, one lies on the ground with the missing stone is in a garden somewhere. The row is simple but majestic and makes a stunning addition to an already beautiful landscape.
As the day came to a close, and as I was just about to wrap up, a group of crows passed by on their way home, completing the image.
